Alkaloid AD Skopje has chosen Carrier for supplying the new air cooled high efficiency chiller Aquaforce for its new R&D Institute, unique of its kind in Macedonia. Because of its high energy efficiency (up to 3,2 COP for certain models) Alkaloid has chosen Carrier Aquaforce chiller with cooling capacity of 700 kW. As a world leader in air conditioning, Carrier first introduced micro channel (MCHX) condenser entirely made of aluminium which results in 10% more efficient then standard coil and 30% reduction of the refrigerant charge. Because the Aquaforce condenser coil is made entirely of aluminium, its increases corrosion resistance up to three and a half times compared to standard copper/aluminium coils. These advantages as well as 105 years old tradition in manufacturing air conditioning products where deciding Carrier to win the responsible task of supplying cold water for the needs of the Institute. |
